Data controller
The data controller is ID Advise SRL, Excelsiorlaan 44, 1930 Zaventem, Belgium (company number 1004.017.801). For any question about your data: info@idadvise.com.
Data we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we process the following data:
- Contact form: full name, company (optional), email address, phone number, type of request, message and attached files (plans, photos, specifications…).
- Applications: if you apply by writing to info@idadvise.com, the information you send us (message, CV, contact details).
- Spam protection: your IP address is converted into a hash in order to limit the number of form submissions per hour. This hash is used only to count your recent submissions.
- Technical logs: like any host, OVH records connection logs (IP address, date, pages viewed) for the security and proper operation of its servers.
The form does not store your request on the server: it is sent by email. Your data is not sold to third parties.
Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to your request (information, quote, application): your consent, given by ticking the box on the form, and the pre-contractual steps you ask us to take.
- Protecting the website against abuse (spam): our legitimate interest in keeping the form secure and working properly.
- Meeting our legal obligations (accounting, tax) when your request leads to a contract: a legal obligation.
Recipients
Your data is intended for the people at ID Advise who handle your request. Hosting of the website and delivery of the form’s emails are provided by OVH SAS (France), which acts as a processor. We do not share your data with any other third party, except where required by law.
Google services
To display correctly, every page of the website loads Google Fonts typefaces from Google’s servers: your browser then sends your IP address to Google.
The Contact page embeds a Google Map. Loading it puts your browser in contact with Google, which may set cookies and collect data under its own policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
Google may process this data outside the European Union, notably in the United States, under its own transfer safeguards.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies itself and uses no analytics or advertising tools. Only the Google Map on the Contact page may set cookies, as explained above.
Retention period
Your data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and follow up on our relationship, then for the period required by law where the request leads to a contract. It is then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict your data, to object to its processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
To exercise your rights, write to info@idadvise.com: we reply within one month. We may ask for proof of identity if we have reasonable doubt.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (DPA), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, unauthorised access and disclosure.
